Personal branding photo sessions (also known as portrait sessions)

You are the face of your business and a good photograph can help to introduce you to your potential clients and be visible to your existing ones. A set of photographs that represent you and your brand are super useful to share with your audience. Head shots can be creative and show you in your place of work or somewhere that connects you to your business. Once you have a good set of photographs you will feel confident using them to connect with your clients on social media, your website and for PR. And you will have that all important portrait photo ready to send out when you need it.

Having said that, I totally understand that it is not always easy to have your photograph taken. In fact I’m not sure anyone has ever told me that they love it before we start! But don’t worry, it really isn’t too painful and it always involves lots of chat (and tea where possible!).

What is a personal branding session?

This is a portrait photo session of you to visually represent your brand. We know that branding is about much more than a single image but photographs that connect with your brand will help to tell your story. During the session we can create images together that demonstrate your brand values and that a you can be proud to share with your audience.

How does a photo session work?

The first part is making a connection. I love to know all about the people I photograph and the more I know about your business the better so that we can talk through ideas for your photoshoot. I recommend choosing to have your photos taken in your place of business or a place which is connected to your work. This means that you are likely to feel more relaxed there and your photographs will be unique to you. If that is not the right choice we can work together to find a suitable location.

Once you have chosen a location and we have decided on a date you will secure your booking with a deposit. Prior to the shoot we will have talked through your aims for the session, location, clothing and anything else that is relevant to your shoot.

On the day of the shoot, once we have had a chat (and a cuppa) we will take the photographs. This really is a collaborative process and I always welcome ideas from you and share new ideas during the shoot too. The thought of having your photo taken and the camera pointing at you may be rather daunting but you don’t need me to tell you how important it is for your business that you are seen. Our photo session will be relaxed and informal and I can give you direction and encouragement to feel confident in front of the lens. We will talk about this before the session so that I have a good idea of how you feel about your photo session.

Within two weeks of your photo session, I will email you a link to a private online gallery. Depending which collection you’ve chosen, your gallery will contain your digital images for you to view and share online. You may wish to use the photographs in print so you will also receive them as high resolution files.

You will then be able to be more visible to your clients and be confident with your professional portrait photographs that truly represent you.

Headshots Collection 1 £185

• Pre-shoot consultation via telephone

• 30 minutes photo session in one location with one outfit/look

• 5 digital images in a private online gallery

• This is a great collection for you if you are just getting started or if you need a new portrait/headshot.

Branding Collection 2 £325

• Pre-shoot consultation via telephone i

• 1 hour of photography

• 30 digital images in a private online gallery

• This is my most popular session for small brands. We can include portrait shots, lifestyle work shots and flatly or products too to create content for your website and social channels.

Branding Collection 3 £395

• Pre-shoot consultation including a planning session

• 3 hours photography

• 50 digital images in a private online gallery

• This will work for you if you need a greater variety of shots or would like to use a couple of different locations. Or if you have a small team of people that you would like photographed at work. It can include portraits, headshots, lifestyle, flatlays and product shots.
